Louella Jane Addington and Lester George Moon
From the Sutter County Farmer, Friday, November 9, 1906:
SUTTER CITY - A very pretty wedding scene was enacted Tuesday evening at the home of Dr. D.M. Addington, when his daughter Ella became the bride of Lester Moon. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W.R. Johns in the presence of relatives and a few friends at 8 o'clock, under a bower of evergreens and flowers arranged in the room, which was tastefully decorated in evergreen and white crepe festoonage and white chrysanthemum and the dining room was in green and white, and was very prettily arranged. The bride was attired in a handsome costume of white albatross and the groom in the conventional black. After the ceremony a bountiful supper was served, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The young couple left for Marysville, where they took the early train for Alameda, and there visit relatives and friends before their return. Their many friends wish them Godspeed. The presents received were numerous and beautiful. (The wedding took place on Tuesday November 6, 1906).
