According to their website, the "San Mateo County History Museum Archives has a variety of materials pertaining to the history of San Mateo County. These materials include a 1400 volume book collection, 30,000 photographs, newspaper clippings, documents, fine arts, letters, manuscripts, many maps, memorabilia, newspapers in print and on microfilm, some city and county government records, pamphlets and posters.
