|12-10||Hoffman, Laubenstine||1940 census records show a William Hoffman living in Reno, NV. The census states he was living in Sacramento, Sacramento Co., CA. as of Apr 1 1935. I'm wondering if there were city directories for that period from 1935 through 1939? He likely would not have owned land. Any ideas on where to look would be appreciated. In the 1930 census, he was in San Francisco. He went by the last name of HOFFMAN (his mother's maiden name) but his birth name was LAUBENSTINE. He shows up as divorced in 1940 and I do not know his former wife's name.||Rich||04/09/12|
