NOTICE: It has come to my attention that the Fairmount Cemetery in Glendora is on land which has been
bought by developers. Among the burials here are the great-grandson of Daniel Boone and the daughter of Thomas Baker, for whom Bakersfield was named. The Trustees of Fairmount Cemetery have succeeded in getting the cemetery on the City of Glendora Historical Register and are now fighting a costly endeavor with the State of California and the Federal Government to get the same thing done. I am currently trying to get information regarding how we can help.
