Last Surviving Charter Member Passes Away

Mrs. Esther Cohn, formerly a resident of Susanville, passed away in San Francisco Wednesday of last week, the funeral being held Friday. Her late husband, Jacob Cohn, operated a store here 30 years ago at the corner of Main and Lassen streets. Mrs. Cohn was the last surviving charter member of Social Rebekah Lodge, instituted in Susanville in 1886, a highly educated woman and had many devoted friends here.
