Funeral Services Held In Westwood

Funeral services were held this afternoon for Eldsworth J. VanderVate, 18, in the People's Church in Westwood, by Reverend James B. Murray. Graveside services were conducted by the Lassen Volcanic Odd Fellows Lodge No. 466. He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Vandervate of Westwood. Burial was in the Odd Fellows' plot of the Westwood Cemetery. The deceased died last Thursday night in the Sanford-Lane Hospital in San Francisco. William Manes of the Morrill Mortuary went to San Francisco and brought the body back to Westwood.
