Was there an early place in El Dorado County named Salmon Falls? I have read in a biography of a relative who lived in Drytown, Amador, CA that he met a person in Salmon Falls and traveled there to see or be a part of the gold mining in that area (this was in late 1850). I have an ancestor who susposedly gave birth to a child in Aldorado County (should be El Dorado) and was wondering if this area may have been Salmon Falls. Does El Dorado County have birth, marriage, and death records on internet? [I saw some marriage records for El Dorado County on a website named Western States Marriage Records Index from abish.byui.edu, and so I was wondering if you have birth and death records listed on internet?]
