The California Biography Project

This Site is part of
The CAGenWeb Project and The USGenWeb Project

This is a new site for which Biographies from the old County Histories and other resources will be made available.
Because there is a wide range of years for these lovely old books,
the Histories will be set up chronologically, not grouped by County.
The Indexes will be linked to the title. Histories published from 1901 > 1933 can be found here.
Most if not all of the books are available to read or download online from the Internet Archives or Google Books.
If you cannot find it, send along a note and I will send you the link to the book.
